The BTPA Assessment Finder reflects our philosophy. It enables you to look at alternative solutions provided by our members and to use your professional judgment to chose an instrument that meets your particular needs.

Basic Search

This enables you to use any combination of four drop down menus to define your need. These are:

What do I want to do? You can chose objectives from selection and sifting to development and outplacement

What sort of person / position I am assessing? From school leavers to board members.

What sort of assessment do I want? We have provided a list of the main types of instrument available, from assessments of interest, stress, developmental needs and personal style to specific skills assessments.

How am I going to run the process? Are you interested in web delivery or do you prefer more traditional paper and pencil sessions?

You can chose an option from each of these four areas to create a very focused search or simply chose an option from one of the areas to throw the net much more widely.

Training

Almost all the instruments listed here require prospective users to undertake some sort of training. This ensures that users get the maximum benefit from them and protects test and assessment takers from wrong or inaccurate decisions at crucial stages in their careers and lives. Members' individual web sites detail training requirements, or you can phone or e-mail individual members for a more in-depth discussion on this issue.
